Entries for the '06-'07 season to come soon!

Children's Healthcare Parade - 12/3

We marched in the Children's Healthcare parade Downtown Saturday morning at 10:30am. It was a little rainy and cold, but there were lots of people cheering us on and enjoying our music from the sides. The Parade itself went by very quickly, but we we had a good time and continued our tradition of participating in this Atlanta Parade.

BOA ATLANTA - 11/4 & 11/5

Right after school let out, The Band headed down to the Goegia Dome on Friday night and perfomed the last show of the night at 8:30pm. Everyone was really excited and felt like wthe group had a strong solid run, and we loaded the buses back up and went home.

Saturday morning we arrived to school around 11am and discussed last night's performance and talked about things we can improve. We had a practice with run throughs of each segment, and quickly ate lunch and departed back to the Dome. When we arrived, we walked to the Dome and sat down and watched two bands, and the JSU Marching Southerners in Exhibition. The awards made everyone really nervous, but we were lucky to make finals with so many great bands. After, we left for the buses and ate dinner and relaxed a bit. Because we performed much later, we headed down and watched Kennesaw Mountain's exhibition performance and the first 3 bands. We walked to our warmup area, and had time to rest before warming up. We were able to do marching excercises, warmups, and run through the show. The band had one of our best run through's in FInals and everyone felt really proud of the work and effort they put in. Congratulation and great job to all the participants at BOA Atlanta!
